The Diaper Bags

Diaper Bags For Every Dad

We’ve scoured the web to find you the best deals on good products. While Reviewed.com may receive a small share of the revenue from your purchase, editorial opinions are independent from any business sales.

Diaper bags designed just for dads? Unthinkable a decade ago, but today’s manufacturers are hip to the needs and sensibilities of modern fathers. Tim Shabarekh, co-organizer of our Boston Dads Group, test drove several models sent to City Dads Group and filed this report.

Every parent knows that outings with baby can be unpredictable so it’s always better to be prepared. Carrying baby essentials like diapers, wipes, and snacks along with your keys, phone, and wallet can get a little disorganized which can make being out and about with baby very stressful. Diaper bags are made to reduce that stress by providing proper compartments, removable dividers, bottle holders, and zip-close pockets to help keep everything organized. While fashion-forward moms want their diaper bags to look like purses, dad’s want something that’s made just for him. Here are the top 5 best diaper bags for dad in 2017 for dads who are ready for diaper duty!

1.Okiedog Urban Sphinx

Okiedog Urban Sphinx

The Okiedog Urban Sphinx is Shell’s diaper bag of choice. One of the benefits that he sees in this bag is that it is easy to clean. Another plus? Shell found that this bag truly pulls double-duty when it comes to carrying around more than just diapers. “I’ll admit, even though my son is now 4 years old and I no longer need a diaper bag for him, I still use my ‘daddy diaper bag’ to keep my stuff in,” he says.

2.Diaper Dude True Dude Collection

Diaper Dude is one of the veterans of the ever-expanding dad diaper bag world. The brand is continuing to create good dad-centric bags and do good in the world with their new True Dude collection. The new True Dude umbrella brand has partnered with Futures Without Violence, an organization focused on developing innovative ways to end violence against women, children, and families, with the goal of getting families involved supporting a program called Coaching Boys Into Men.

“True Dude intends to equip, empower and engage new fathers and families with great products, a message, manifesto and a challenge in conjunction with a commitment to Futures Without Violence.” In other words, this is a whole lot bigger than a just a diaper bag. Lucky for you, the bags look pretty fab too.

These bags haven’t been released yet and aren’t even available on the website yet, but check out the pics above for a sneak peak at the True Dude Canvas Cotton Backpack and the True Dude Courier Style Messenger III. Proceeds of all sales will go to support Futures Without Violence’ Coaching Boys Into Men program nationally.

3.Filberry Designer Diaper Bag

The Filberry Designer Diaper Bag is a messenger-style carry-all with many great features. If you want to keep the profile slim, you can, but if you need to carry lots of stuff there’s plenty of room in the main compartment for diapers, food and extra clothes. A built-in insulated compartment comes in handy if you carry milk or formula. My favorite feature is the zipper along the bag’s top. While carrying the bag over your shoulder, you can open it with one hand, remove the changing pad and supplies without having to set the bag down, keeping your other hand free. Anyone who has tried to change an unhappy infant while on the go knows how useful this is.

4.Diaper Dude Grey Canvas Mens Tote

The perfect gift for a new dad, this tote bag is classy and professional, with dark blue fabric and classic brown straps. Three front pockets are perfectly shaped to hold bottles, and the bag has two main compartments for diapers, extra clothes, wipes, and more. The back has a slot pocket perfect for tablets or books. Dads can carry everything they need for a day out with their baby and look awesome at the same time. More at https://www.brandreviewly.com/finest-diaper-bags-dads/.

5.Graco Ultimate Duffle Diaper Bag

Graco Ultimate Duffle Diaper Bag

All those hours in the gym gets dad used to carrying around a duffle bag, and now there is one specially designed for their baby’s things too. With a plethora of pockets, this shoulder bag from Graco has space for all the wipes, clean diapers and toys you need to keep your little guy or girl happy with daddy. Multiple side pockets keeps toys away from creams so there won’t be any bad spillage, and the shoulder strap adjusts to any height. The 100 percent polyester fabric is easy to clean with just a damp cloth and a changing pad is included.

As a new dad I can say that having a baby has been the most incredible experience of my life, but it’s also been an enormously stressful one. Part of that stress? Figuring out what stuff to buy amidst a sea of junk. More at www.brandreviewly.com.

While buying stuff seems like the least important part of the process, you want to make sure you get something that works well so you don’t have to worry about it. That’s especially true when it comes to the diaper bag, which you’ll be bringing with you everywhere. After doing extensive research and living with ours for six months, here’s what my wife and I have found.
